A longtime theatergoer in the DMV, Eric counts eight Playbill books full of theatrical experiences as one of his prized possessions, and his favorite local productions include Caryl Churchill’s A Number at Studio Theatre, Sarah Ruhl’s A Clean House at Woolly Mammoth, and Psalmayene 24’s Monumental Travesties at Mosaic. Eric is a native of the Boston area, happily married, and loves taking his young daughter out for a show whenever he can.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Elena Velasco (she\/ella) is a theatre artist whose work encompasses performance, education, and community engagement. An associate member of Stage Director and Choreographers Society and Helen Hayes-nominated artist, her directing and choreography credits include GALA Hispanic, 1st Stage, Keegan Theatre, NextStop Theatre, Synetic Theater, Central Square Theatre in Greater Boston, and was the Founding Artistic Director of Convergence Theatre, a theatre for social justice performance collective.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is an associate professor of theatre arts at Bowie State University, a yoga teacher, and the proud mother of seven, all who have varied paths and passions.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
